Abstract:

A 29-year-old pilot was referred from a U.S. Air Force base with a history of pneumocephalus on computed tomography (CT) scan following a high-altitude flight.

    This is a very interesting and informative case. Why did you lift a nasoseptal flap instead of covering the defect with the removed sphenoid sinus mucosa as a free graft? Apparently there was no increased ICP or prior radiotherapy to compromise the take of a free graft.
